Use of OZONE
Ozone purification and disinfection is a cost-saving, effective and environmentally friendly cleaning of RSW systems, tanks, and pipes on board fishing vessels.
To achieve the best possible results, we adapt each ozone system to the technical equipment and rooms in the boat. (see reference list)
Purification in RSW systems works by releasing ozone into seawater that is recycled in the RSW system. The same method is also used for disinfection.
We supply ozone systems with external or built-in oxygen. Ozone produced from oxygen provides a high concentration and thus a better and faster cleaning and disinfection effect.
The systems are reliable and of high quality. The generators can be air-cooled or liquid-cooled.
Fishing industry
Naustor Technology offers cost-saving solutions for disinfecting equipment and premises in the fishing industry.
Ozone systems can produce ozone-saturated seawater or fresh water that is flushed/sprayed onto production equipment and surfaces. Alternatively, ozone gas is produced that disinfects air and surfaces that come into contact with the gas. Ozone can be used in the vessel washing system, tanks and pipes without the use of chemicals and hot water. Ozone gas can also be supplied to a closed space to disinfect hard-to-reach surfaces on production equipment. Ozone works as an effective odor remover.
The systems we supply have an integrated oxygen system in the generators. This provides a high concentration and thus better and faster effect. Additional benefits are that the need for hazardous chemicals is reduced or eliminated and wear on equipment and surfaces is reduced.
An ozone system can operate automatically and does not require any special expertise. The systems are largely maintenance-free and thus cost-saving.

Fixed and mobile ozone systems
Naustor Technology supplies ozone systems for fixed central installation, and mobile units.
Larger centrally mounted systems are used when large quantities of disinfectant and frequent treatment are required. If consumption is moderate and the equipment to be treated is located in different locations, it may be beneficial to have a mobile unit that can be easily moved between different locations. The mobile unit can also be mounted as a site mounted unit and is manufactured in two sizes.
Naustor ozone generators have the following features:
Works with both air and oxygen. Use with air produces enough ozone in most cases. Using oxygen increases the efficiency and ozone concentration/capacity considerably from the generator.
Floating Plate Technology™ reduces energy consumption. FPT also reduces fluid maintenance requirements and extends service life.
The generators are air-cooled. There is no need for an external cooling system. Installation is easy and there is little need for maintenance.
Degassing system ensures elimination of bubbles and excess gas.
The generators have a built-in control system with temperature protection and regulation.
